Tehya Turns ONE {Big Bear Lake Photographer}

Sweet little Tehya came to visit me for her one year old cake smash a few weeks ago with her mommy and big sisters. She's the cutest, petite, little girl ever. She's also the most mobile one year old I think I've ever met. We tried everything to keep her in one place but most attempts just reminded us that keeping a little one still is next to impossible. The cake part was a bit more tricky but we managed to keep her interested for just long enough. She's a lucky little one because her big sisters are really super sweet. Growing up with them will be tons of fun. Thank you M family!!

Orange County Beach Family {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photographer}

I was so excited to hear from Erika a few months ago when she called about a family session that she and her Mom really wanted to gift to Dad. I had shot her wedding last September and I LOVE LOVE LOVE hearing from my clients again. I really feel blessed to get to know them after a few sessions. ;) This time I drove down to their neck of the land for a beach session. Admittedly, I really felt out of my comfort zone at the beach. It's a whole other beast when it comes to settings and light etc. We shot really late too so I had that ISO cranked high for some of them. And even though it was overcast for most of the shoot it was really so beautiful and really nice to change up my normal scenery too. They told me that they had gone a whole different direction with their clothing choices but I had no idea they would look this cool until I saw them. Dad is a fashion guru and helped everyone work it all out. What a perfect combo. Thank you so much E family for inviting me out and trusting me, again, to capture your family. I recently had the pleasure of mentoring another photographer and Miss T answered the call of duty to model for us while I taught posing and lighting techniques. There were times of boredom for her while I taught S different things but she happily filled the void by playing bubbles with my little Ava. What a sweetheart! She did a wonderful job and I'm excited for her that S is such a great photographer and fast learner because she'll have gobs of gorgeous images from this shoot. Madison Ross 11 days New {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photographer}

Sweet little Madison. I really didn't think that her parents could make another baby as sweet and beautiful as her older sister Kaitlyn but they proved me wrong. She got an extra helping of both sweet AND beautiful for sure. And lucky for me she had a healthy dose of "sleepy" too. I don't usually travel these days for newborn shoots but this family has an actual carnival on their sprawling property. Not just a few carnival rides set up, like I thought, but it's actually landscaped and layed out beautifully and proffessionally. They just amaze me. I wish I could be their kid or at least a relative! lol. Her Daddy entertained my two kiddos for hours out there on the rides while I photographed Madison. He's so patient. They had the best time. Dear G family, you guys are really inspiring and I'm happy to know you. Thank you for coming back time and time again for me to be able to capture all your special milestones. I don't take it lightly, it's really special to see. Storybook Sophia {Big Bear Lake Antelope Valley Photographer}

Sweet, dear, Sophia. I love working with her. It's really inspirational for me when I sit down to edit and I feel like I'm on another adventure all over again, with a smile from ear to ear. That's a treasure for me as an artist. I planned this session around her. Shopping for clothing and items that would fit her and it worked out magically. Etsy was my shop for the dress, vintage crayons, and coloring book. And I collected little things along the way. But mostly all I needed was Sophia and some beautiful mountain light... and my sweet husband who ran back and forth to the car to get all the things I needed. Sleepy and Sweet, Baby Audrina {Inland Empire Newborn Photographer}

I was so happy to finally meet baby Audrina. Mom and Dad came for a visit to show off their new little one and I was able to grab some shots of her. She slept so amazingly. It was a really big blessing that she slept so deep and for so long. I think she must have known that we all needed that right then. She's so beautiful and I loved talking to her and cuddling her. Dad was such a big help too, thanks Dad! So without further adieu... Little Audrina, her big sis, and her sweet mom and dad...
