I know somewhere that there is a much better quote for this Mommy but I can't find it! She's beautiful inside and out and her children will surely rise up and call her blessed.

She came over a few weeks ago with her sweet little ones for this session and I'm so happy it worked out. Her little guy didn't want a whole lot to do with that black monstrosity I held to my face and pointed at him, but I was able to grab some sweet photos of him none the less. One of the lovely things about a great small town is that she is the sister of one of my past models, our piano teacher, a gym mate, she understands my crazy eating and health habits and gives me good advice about it too, and I also call her friend.

Oh sweet Kaitlyn! I was so blessed to meet this little one and her precious parents last year when she was born. And I felt even more blessed when her mama called me to arrange a one year cake smash. What?! One year? No WAY! There's that time going so fast again. Crazy. Anyway, this time she brought her mama and Grandma with her and we had a good time. She is seriously one of the prettiest baby girls ever. I had so much fun with you guys! Thank you for coming all the way from the Antelope Valley to spend time with me! see you soon! xoxo

Chris and Rachel {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Engagement Photographer}

I met Chris and Rachel last year at a quaint little coffee shop in the Big Bear Village to talk about their wedding in Orange County this year and to decide on their engagement photos. They really wanted a snowy winterland engagement session since Big Bear is where their heart is. No problemo! You want snow, we got it, right? WRONG! This Winter had a mind of it's own. It literall would. not. snow. Then finally we got something we could work with and luckily they were able to come up from Orange County on really short notice so that we could shoot in the fresh snow. Dusting the Cobwebs off my Blog... {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photographer}

Oh my goodness where does the time go?! It's been 10 weeks since my last blog post and I have no idea where that 10 weeks went. Time is so precious and goes by even faster now then ever so I've been trying to take it easy and enjoy my family. But that means that certain items on the to-do list keep getting pushed to the next day, then the next week, until now, 10 weeks later here I am. :)
But I'm happy to be here sharing what I've been up to. These precious people that I get to work with deserve a spotlight so without further adieu I'll start with my own Ava and our sweet friend Genevieve. I had the cutest little dresses and it had been a while since I had time to play so A and G were my unsuspecting victims. They did pretty well for all of about five minutes, but hey, I'll take what I can get sometimes.

Baby Joshua {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photography}

I booked this session before all the hustle of the Holidays so it was a nice treat to get over the craziness and get to meet this sweet little guy. He was a week "late", according to his "due date", but really he was right on time. He didn't come with a bow but no doubt was a beautiful present for his mommy's birthday. I'm sure his Daddy won't ever be able to top that gift! They came all the way to Big Bear from Orange County for his newborn photography session. When he got here he seemed like he was going to be so sleepy but really, I think he gave me about 15 minutes of solid sleep at the beginning so the rest of the session was pretty tricky. But just like giving birth (i've heard), I have no memory of the work. Only of how stinkin' beautiful this little guy was and how sweet his parents are. I love my job, I don't think I've said that lately. But i'm blessed. Thank you Y family for coming up here and spending the day with me. It was so nice to meet you! xoxo

The Best of 2011

First Session of 2012 {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photography}

These two were my first session of the new year and I couldn't have asked for better clients. She was so detailed oriented and creative and had all sorts of fun ideas for her session. She even made her own New Year banner the night before. I was impressed! They were such a sweet couple and really easy to work with. The sweetest thing about them is that they have been together since Highschool. I am a sucker for old fashioned love stories! Thanks J and J for coming up to my neck of the woods and choosing me to capture your sweet spirit for the new year!
