Sisters.... {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photography}

"To have a loving relationship with a sister is not simply to have a buddy or confident - it is to have a soulmate for life." ~Victoria Secunda

This session was so much fun and a timely blessing for them as well. They got to eat candy and cream puffs AND drink Soda too! They were so cute romping around our little set with curiosity and excitement. Who says a photoshoot has to be torture?
Thank you M girls for coming out to play. Myself and Mrs. Jen had so much fun with you! Enjoy! xoxo

Fifty Two on Fridays {Week 32} Feet

Wow, can I just say that I'm super proud of our group? We are more then halfway through the year and still sticking with this project. It's been a real struggle to do it every week in the midst of craziness but it's been rewarding. This week my sweet, dear beloved camera is at the shop so I pulled one from my recent twin session. Besides I know Mom and Dad would love a sneak peek since it probably feels like forever ago that I was there...
Check out these cuties, and their sweet little feet!

Fifty Two on Fridays {Week 31} Funny

This would have been a hard week for this project except for that I just happened to have the most wonderful twin session last week with a great family and a really funny new Daddy. The babies were having a hard time settling down for this shot and just when I thought their little heads would relax they would pop back up and turn right away from the optimum place for the photo..... So Daddy lent a helping hand. I knew I had to grab a picture of that, especially when he made that face! lol! These babies are going to grow up with wonderful parents and a wonderful sense of humor too. Can't beat that! Thanks for stopping by!

A Beautiful Family... {Antelope Valley Family Photography}

I have photographed many families. I have loved most of them but there are always a favorite few for one reason or another. I have had the joy of photographing these twins, Presley and Parker, since they were born. They were my first set of twins and WOW! It was difficult! I'm so happy that I had that opportunity though because their momma, Renee, is one of the sweetest people I've been able to meet as a photographer. Renee was also the Grand Prize winner of my family contest back in January. She worked so hard as well as did all her friends and family in order to win this contest. Due to weather though, it was hard to make happen until a few weeks ago but it couldn't have been more perfect. They are such a sweet and beautiful family and I hope that I get to photograph many more milestones in their journey together. xoxo

Fifty Two on Fridays {Week 30} Bright Colors

This weeks theme is Bright Colors and it couldn't have been better timing for me. One, because I just finished editing a circus session that I did with my kiddos and Two, because I had four very busy full sessions this week alone and i'm wiped out. Thank goodness for a break this weekend. Here is my photo, if you'd like to see more from this session after you make the circle, the link is at the bottom. Thank you for stopping by!!

Boutique Circus {Big Bear Lake Photography}

Dreams keep me going. My imagination is super active and often times I have to simmer down. But I'm always amazed at the Lord's pick for my spouse. You see, when I say "honey, you know that circus session i've been planning, well I thought it would be fun to find a piano on Craigslist....and paint it red." And he says, "yeah, that'd be cool!" And the next day....we have a piano...we are painting red...together. I'm blessed. I spent a very long time planning this in the midst of a crazy schedule, trying to find all the little details that popped into my head. It's maddening to me how the dreams I dream always seem to have more detail then I can make happen. One detail that I neglected was to give my kids a nap before we chased the sun that evening. I'll admit that I was more then a little ill-tempered when, with groggy eyes and a half hearted smile, they'd sort of look in my direction. Argh. But after a bit I decided to make the best of it since we did load up a trailer and lug all that stuff out to a field. We sure weren't going to try THAT again. And how many times can they possibly participate in my wild imagination sessions anyway? lol!
With a little blood, a lot of sweat, and nearly some tears, here is my Boutique Circus Session with my beautiful babies... thank you for stopping by and if you read this...thank you again! xoxo
