I LOVE children's fashion. I would rather spend $5000 on my kids wardrobe then mine any day. It's safe to say I'm obsessed. :) So when my good friend Summer came this past weekend to stay with us we dressed up her gorgeous girls in some of Ava's fashions. Here is Mikenzie modeling some Matilda Jane.
Mikenzie was so natural in front of my camera, I can't wait to photograph her again!

Hunter - BBHS Senior {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Senior Photographer}

A few weeks ago I had a really great session with a local BBHS Senior. We tried to schedule our session the week before but it was soooo cold. It had been like Spring here in the mountains for several weeks before this so I didn't think there would be a problem. Well, I was wrong! At our session that day it was 53 degrees and windy! Hunter was a trooper though and did such a beautiful job. I had her do some things for me, like wear my aviator goggles, and I think she rocked them. ;)

Of course the first thing that comes to mind when I think "innocence" is new life....nothing sweeter and nothing more innocent....sweet sigh... And I just happened to have the most perfect little new life to photograph this past week, such a joy!

Fifty Two on Fridays | Week 6 {LOVE}

That little word can hold so much.... On the surface, I love coffee! I love photography. I love antique stores. I love going to the gym. I love to travel.

Much deeper, I love my husband and my kids, my family, friends..... and then the one that my mind can hardly fathom, what I am so grateful for, the One that is unconditional and is a gift...

Sweet Baby K {Big Bear Lake Arrowhead Photographer}}

When I think of baby K, I think of two words immediately, SURPRISE! and Blessing. You see, she was actually supposed to be a boy! Mom and Dad didn't find out until she was born that they were blessed with this beautiful baby girl. And goodness is she beautiful! Her Mommy is a sweet friend of mine so she brought her over yesterday so that I could play with her and also this afternoon, and I can say that I hope to see her and her sisters back next week! What a beautiful family they are and how great has God blessed them and what a privledge it is for me to know them! Here is one for a sneak peek!

If ever there was a shoe that could describe my kid....it's these.
Spunky, sassy, girly, a little wild, and totally beyond cute!

Hopeful Baby's Room {ABC Wall is finished!}

I shared a heartfelt post a little while ago about our struggles with infertility and the long road it takes to get to adoption. I also shared the bedroom that we had prepared with the energy from all the hope we have to grow our family. I was just waiting on a few alphabet letters to arrive and wouldn't you know, the last letter to come was Z! haha! I made most of the letters myself with the exception of K, I, N, and Z. It was so super fun and if you want to know how to do it too maybe i'll do a blog post about it...that would be fun! Anyway, here is the room all finished and waiting for our hopefully someday, new baby! Thanks for stopping by! And for all the prayers and support!
